APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

A STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

STEP 1

E-mail inquire@iacademy.edu.ph with the Subject Title:
Foreign Student Application [Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial]

Attach the following to the e-mail:

  1. Application form. Downloadable from www.iacademy.edu.ph/site/home/international
  2. Deposit slip of $50 (USD) for application fee

STEP 2

Wait for an admissions officer to contact you for the online interview.

STEP 3

Submit scanned copies of admission requirements for initial assessment:

  1. Five (5) copies of the Student’s Personal History Statement (PHS) from the accepting school duly signed by him, both English and in his national alphabet accompanied by his personal seal if any, containing among others, his left and right thumb prints a 2x2 inch photograph on plain white background taken not more than six months prior to submission
  2. Transcript of Record/Scholastic Records duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy/Consulate located in the student-applicant’s country of origin or place of legal residence
  3. A notarized Affidavit of Support including bank statements or notarized grant for institutional scholars, to cover expenses for the student’s accommodation and subsistence, as well as school dues and other incidental expenses
  4. Photocopy of the student’s passport showing date and place of birth and birth certificate or its equivalent duly authenticated by the Philippine Embassy.
  5. Recommendation Letter from Principal/Guidance Counselor/Class Adviser
  6. Copy of Birth Certificate
  7. Photocopy of the data page on the student’s passport (i.e. photo, date and place of birth, stamp of the latest arrival in the Philippines.) The passport itself shall be presented to the Bureau of Immigration for verification. Note: Please present original passport for verification
  8. Quarantine Medical Examination by the National Quarantine Office
  9. IELTS Test Report Form with a minimum band score of 6
  10. Note: US Citizen Students are not required to take IELTS exam but a certificate/letter of English proficiency from the last school attended should be submitted.
  11. Original Copy of the school’s Acceptance Letter containing a clear impression of the school’s dry seal. c/o Admissions
  12. 3 pcs 2x2 ID Picture
  13. Enrollment Application Form
  14. Original Test Results Report signed and stamped “For Enrollment”
  15. Official Receipt of Reservation
  16. Police Clearance from country of origin

STEP 4

Bring original documents and requirements when you fly to the Philippines.
