iACADEMY School of Computing Emerges Victorious in Huawei ICT Competition; Prepares for Global Showdown


iACADEMY takes pride in reporting the incredible victory of the School of Computing in the Huawei ICT Competition – Computing Track, where the iACADEMY team - comprised of Nicholas Barilea, Ryan Caezar Itang, Justine Benedict Umali, and Coach Jayson Viernes - has emerged victorious over other country delegates in the Asia Pacific region. This esteemed win further underlines iACADEMY’s identity as an incubator of technological learning brilliance and places a glaring spotlight on the amazing talents and expertise that this institute fosters. 


The Huawei ICT Competition is a popular stage to cultivate skills in information & communication technology based on collaboration, innovation, and brilliance. In the competition against the representatives of the most respected institutions from the whole Asia Pacific region, the iACADEMY School of Computing demonstrated exceptional skills, creativity, and determination and attained the first spot in the Computing track.

The Huawei ICT Competition, Computing Track, involved fields such as network technology, cloud computing, artificial Intelligence, etc. This achievement, on the regional phase, acknowledges the hard work and abilities of this year’s School of Computing team.

As champions of the Huawei ICT Competition - Computing Track, iACADEMY's School of Computing team will represent the Philippines in the upcoming awarding ceremony in Indonesia on April 18, 2024. Subsequently, they will compete against country representatives on a global scale in China on May 20, 2024, showcasing their skills and knowledge on an international platform.
