iACADEMY Lands Four WURI 2026 Top 100 Rankings in First-Ever Participation

May 07, 2026

iACADEMY has made a strong international debut at the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026, earning placements in four WURI Top 100 Categories during its first-ever participation in the globally recognized ranking system.

The institution secured the following recognitions:
• Rank 74 in University Brand and Reputation (B8)
• Rank 80 in Crisis Management (A5)
• Rank 82 in Cost-Effectiveness Management (B7)
• Rank 89 in Curricular Innovation for Future Readiness (C3)

The achievement marks a significant milestone for iACADEMY, positioning the institution among globally recognized universities demonstrating measurable innovation and societal impact. Unlike traditional ranking systems that primarily evaluate research output and academic citations, WURI assesses higher education institutions based on their real contributions to industry and society through innovation, entrepreneurship, ethical leadership, adaptability, and future-oriented educational practices.

“For iACADEMY, the recognition reflects the institution’s long-standing direction toward industry-aligned and innovation-driven education. Since its establishment, the school has continuously positioned itself as a non-traditional educational institution that integrates academic learning with practical industry application. Through project-based learning, strategic collaborations with global industry leaders, and specialized programs designed to address emerging professional demands, iACADEMY has consistently emphasized future readiness across its academic offerings.” said by Dr. Gian Carlo Alcantara, iACADEMY’s Vice President for Academic Affairs.

This year, WURI evaluated 1,927 higher education institutions from 96 countries. The inclusion in four WURI Top 100 categories during its participation defines the institution’s growing international relevance and institutional agility in responding to evolving educational and industry landscapes. It also highlights iACADEMY’s strengths not only in curriculum innovation, but also in organizational management, institutional branding, and operational responsiveness.

As the global education sector continues to shift toward outcomes-based and innovation-centered learning models, iACADEMY’s performance in WURI 2026 reinforces its commitment to producing graduates equipped for real-world impact and leadership in rapidly changing industries.

The recognition stands as both an institutional milestone and a reflection of iACADEMY’s continuing mission to move education Beyond Better.
