In May 2024, iACADEMY’s Game Changers, Nicholas Barilea, Ryan Caezar Itang, and Justine Benedict Umali along with their coaches, Professor Jayson Viernes and Dean Kiko Napalit, represented the iACADEMY at the Huawei ICT Competition – Computing Track Global Finals, where they showcased their expertise and innovation in information and communication technology (ICT). Their outstanding performance became a historic achievement in June 2024, when they secured the Grand Prize, making iACADEMY and the Philippines the first to receive the highest distinction in the Computing Track of the Huawei ICT Competition Global Finals. 

The Huawei ICT Competition is a globally recognized platform for developing ICT talent, challenging students to create innovative solutions using technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, IoT, and big data. Winning the Grand Prize marked a historic achievement for both iACADEMY and the Philippines, highlighting the institution's commitment to nurturing globally competitive technology professionals. This milestone highlights the institution’s commitment to excellence and reinforces the global competitiveness of Filipino talent in the field of technology.
