HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCES (HUMSS) STRAND

The Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) and Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strands under the Academic Track aim to equip students with theoretical knowledge and practical 21st century skills that will help them become competitive in their respective fields. In addition, these programs will also prepare students for more rigorous academic work in the college level.

ACCOUNTANCY, BUSINESS, AND MANAGEMENT (ABM) STRAND

The Accountancy, Business, and Management strand introduces students to the dynamics of business in the 21st century. Under this strand, the students will be exposed to concepts in business, marketing, accountancy, and entrepreneurship to prepare them for further business studies. In addition, the course aims to impart theoretical and practical knowledge to the students to help prepare them for the challenges of the modern business world.

AUDIO PRODUCTION STRAND

Audio Production equips students with practical and hands-on training to help them build a mix of a traditional and digital portfolio of electronically produced and professional-sounding audio.

MEDIA & VISUAL ARTS WITH SPECIALIZATION IN MULTIMEDIA ARTS STRAND

Designed to address the growing need for qualified, multidisciplinary individuals in the creative industries, the Media and Visual Arts program develops the students’ talents in various creative fields. It aims to develop their potential to create innovative content for various platforms like print, web, animation, and film.

TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL track

ANIMATION STRAND

It is a strand in which students express their visual creativity through drawing, storytelling, and other visual media with the aid of computer technology. Students will demonstrate creative self-expression as they learn basic and advance drawing skills, techniques for original character design, the natural flow and movement of objects, and background development which includes a study of perspective for 2D and 3D environments.

SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT STRAND

Designed to provide students with a solid introductory foundation of the various concepts and theories, algorithmic foundations, and implementation of solutions in the field of computing. Students will be prepared to apply theoretical concepts in designing, constructing, and deploying software needed in solving real world problems.

GRAPHIC ILLUSTRATION STRAND

Graphic Illustration provides a broadened, practical, and hands-on understanding of the field which can be applied in relevant fields such as comic art, book illustrations, film, animation, and/or storyboard-making.

FASHION DESIGN STRAND

This track is an interplay of art and technology, aimed to give students a fundamental understanding and appreciation for fashion design. Classes will strengthen students’ skills in sketching, styling, and sewing, in preparation for a future career in the industry.

ROBOTICS STRAND

Students under this strand will be equipped with a holistic understanding of the principles of physics, electronics, engineering, mechanics, and computer programming, and apply these to building prototype robots.
